Careem Food launches catering service in the UAE 

Big news for hosts across Dubai and Abu Dhabi: Careem Food Catering is now live, giving you access to 20+ of the UAE’s top caterers through one seamless booking experience on the Careem app.

Summer in the UAE is peak hosting season. Everyone heads indoors, and homes become the venue of choice for weekend family lunches, birthday celebrations, movie and game nights, and office get-togethers. With Careem Food Catering, feeding a crowd is now the easiest part of the plan.

Over recent months, we noticed a consistent spike in large group orders, office catering requests, and repeat catering-related searches on the app. The message was clear: people wanted a more convenient, app-based way to host. So we built it.

Unlike standard group orders placed for immediate delivery, Careem Food Catering is built for planning ahead:

• Book in advance: Place your order 24 to 72 hours ahead depending on the caterer, for events happening up to 15 days away.
• Menus made for crowds: Every caterer offers menus designed for large groups, whether it’s a gathering of 10 or a celebration of 60. No more piecing together individual dishes.
• Hosting, your way: Choose family-style feasting with generous shared plates, finger food for standing receptions and office events, or live stations and carts that bring the experience straight to your venue.
• Sit back and enjoy: Selected caterers even offer waiter service, so you can spend the evening with your guests while they handle the details.

Minimum orders start from AED 350.
