1. These Terms and Conditions (“Promotion Terms and Conditions”) govern the Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C) (“Bank” or “Emirates NBD”) Careem Plus promotion (the“Promotion” or “Offer”).

2. This Promotion is subject to: (i) the Bank’s General Terms and Conditions for Consumer Banking Products, as amended from time to time (the “Emirates NBD General Terms and Conditions”) and (ii) these Promotion Terms and Conditions. The Emirates NBD General Terms and Conditions are available on the Bank’s website at (https://www.emiratesnbd.com/en/terms-and-conditions).

3. In the event of any conflict between these Promotion Terms and Conditions and the Emirates NBD General Terms and Conditions, these Promotion Terms & Conditions shall prevail, but only in respect of this Promotion. Terms used in title case and not defined herein shall have the same meaning as given to them in the Emirates NBD General Terms and Conditions.`

4. Qualifying Emirates NBD Customers Eligible customers for this Promotion are individuals who have opened or hold a current or savings accounts with the Bank and who meet the either Eligibility Criteria A or Eligibility Criteria B:

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in this Promotion:

– Permanent and contract staff of Emirates NBD;

– Staff of Emirates Islamic Bank PJSC’s;

– Third party consultants contracted by Emirates NBD; and

– Staff of Tanfeeth and Liv.

The Careem Plus subscription is offered only to customers who open and maintain

Emirates NBD Premium account. If your Emirates NBD Premium account is cancelled or no longer meets the eligibility criteria or moved to under a different banking package, the complimentary Careem Plus subscription will be deactivated.

The subscription will then continue at the standard Careem Plus monthly rate.

Applicable standard Careem Plus monthly rate will be charged only after your free 12-month plan ends. To avoid automatic renewal, you must cancel 24 hrs before the renewal date.

During your 12-month free plan with Emirates NBD, you’ll need to pay with your eligible Emirates NBD card across Rides, Food and Quik, for your Careem Plus benefits to apply.

5. The Careem Plus subscription is offered only to customers who open and maintain Emirates NBD Premium account. If the customer switched to a different Banking package, the complimentary Careem Plus subscription will be deactivated. The customer will then be charged the standard Careem Plus subscription rate.

6. You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to your subscriptions page. To avoid further charges, cancel before your next scheduled payment date.

7. The Voucher Code cannot be sold or exchanged for cash or transferred.

8. Each Voucher Code is valid for a single use per customer

Activation

To redeem the offer:

1. The customer must access ENBD X mobile app, and navigates to “Explore” section.

2. Customer selects promotional banner highlighting the Careem Plus offer

3. The exclusive unique voucher code is revealed, customer clicks the “Redeem Now”

4. Customer is redirected to Careem App

5. Sign up or log in using your email address or mobile number.

6. Add your unique promo code and eligible Emirates NBD card.

7. Once subscribed to the ENBD offer, all payments for services on Careem will need to be made with the eligible ENBD card to benefit from Careem Plus discounts.

Additional terms

1. If the Bank has reasonable grounds to believe that an Eligible Account holder has violated these Promotion Terms and Conditions, the Emirates NBD General Terms and Conditions and/or any applicable laws or regulations applicable of the United Arab Emirates, the Bank reserves the right to rescind or cancel any rewards, benefits or preferential rates granted under this Promotion.

2. These Promotion Terms and Conditions are subject to change, modification, or amendment at any time, at the sole discretion of the Bank, with prior notice in accordance with applicable law.

3. All decisions relating to this Promotion shall be made at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank and shall be final, binding and conclusive on all participants.

4. The Bank shall not be liable for any personal injury; any loss, expense or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of participating in the Promotion, including: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Bank’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any claim or reward that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Bank) due to any reason beyond the control of the Bank; (d) any tax liability incurred by the Eligible Account holder under this Promotion.

5. These Promotion Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them (including in relation to interpretation or performance), shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.
