Terms and Conditions – Careem Pay Gold Promotion

1. Promotion Overview

The Careem Pay Gold Promotion (“Promotion”) offers eligible customers a voucher code equivalent to the value of a 1g (AED 360), 24-carat gold based on April 8, 2025. This voucher can be redeemed at Tanishq stores for the purchase of gold or any other jewellery item.

By participating in this Promotion, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is available to first-time users of Careem Pay’s remittance service who send a minimum of AED 30,000 or more to any country via the first 3 transactions between April 14 and April 30, 2025.
Customers can reach the AED 30,000 threshold through one, two or three transactions during the campaign period, as long as it is their first time sending money via Careem Pay during the campaign period.
This offer is limited to one voucher per customer, regardless of the number of transactions or the total amount sent. For example, even if a customer sends AED 100,000 or more, they will only receive one voucher. Multiple or higher-value remittance transactions during the campaign period do not qualify for additional vouchers.
This Promotion is valid for remittances sent to All live countries.

3. Voucher Code Details

Eligible customers will receive a voucher code equivalent to the value of a 1g, 24-carat gold based on April 8, 2025, which is set to 360 AED.
The exact value of the voucher is AED 360.
Voucher codes will be issued to eligible customers via email/SMS within 2-4 working days from their date of eligible transfers.
The voucher code can be redeemed at our gifting partner Tanishq Middle East’s retail stores within the UAE for a flat discount of AED 360 on the purchase of gold or any other jewellery item.
Careem Pay is not responsible to cover for the price difference of 1gm gold between 14/04/2025 and the date of purchase
The voucher code cannot be exchanged for cash and is non-transferable.
A limited number of vouchers are available for this Promotion. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Redemption Process

To redeem the voucher, customers must present the voucher code at Tanishq Middle East stores within the UAE
The redemption is subject to Tanishq Middle East’s terms and conditions, and the availability of gold or jewellery items may vary based on the store’s inventory.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the voucher is redeemed within the validity period. Voucher codes will expire 60 days after issuance and cannot be redeemed thereafter.
Careem Pay is not responsible for any issues or delays related to the redemption process at Tanishq Middle East stores.

5. Limited Availability & Campaign Duration

The Promotion is limited to 216 number of vouchers. Once this limit is reached, no further vouchers will be issued.
The Promotion is valid from 14th April 2025 to 30th April 2025, after which no further entries will be accepted.
Careem reserves the right to modify or end the Promotion at any time without prior notice. In the event of any changes, Careem will make reasonable efforts to notify customers, but is not obligated to do so.

6. Exclusions

Transactions that are reversed, cancelled, or refunded are not eligible for this Promotion.
The Promotion is not valid for any transfers made before or after the campaign period.
Employees, contractors, or agents of Careem and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

7. Disclaimers

Careem Pay makes no representations or warranties regarding the gold value at the date of redemption or the redemption process at Tanishq Middle East stores.
The Promotion is subject to local laws and regulations, and Careem Pay reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms or attempts to misuse the Promotion.
Careem Pay will not be held responsible for any delays, errors, or disputes regarding the issuance or redemption of the voucher codes, including but not limited to, issues related to third-party systems or suppliers.
Careem Pay reserves the right to withhold or cancel the issuance of vouchers if it suspects fraudulent activity or any breach of these terms.

8. General Terms

The voucher code is issued on a one-time-use basis and cannot be reused or duplicated.
Careem Pay reserves the right to request identification or additional information from customers for verification purposes prior to issuing the voucher code.
These Terms and Conditions may be updated or amended by Careem Pay at any time without prior notice.
Any disputes arising from this Promotion will be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai will apply.
