You know we love green at Careem, but now we are taking a big step forward towards making our region greener. Introducing a new, sustainable way to ride with Careem &#8211; the Eco-friendly car type.



For just an extra AED 0.05 per kilometer, Eco-friendly rides remove carbon emissions while delivering the same convenience as the most-loved Comfort ride.



That’s only an extra AED 1 for every 20 km travelled –&nbsp; a simple yet impactful contribution to our planet.



We’ve partnered with CarbonSifr, the preferred climate tech partner of Emirates Nature-WWF, to measure the emissions and remove them sustainably.

Our activities release heat-trapping greenhouse gases&nbsp; into the atmosphere, contributing to global warming. By opting for the Eco-friendly car type, you&#8217;re not just riding; you&#8217;re taking a meaningful step toward a cleaner, greener future.



Contributions go towards various local and international conservation projects, including mangrove trees planting in Abu Dhabi and rebuilding coastal habitats in South Asia.&nbsp;
