🍽️ You really didn’t skip Suhoor
Careem Food saw a 36% increase in order volumes during Suhoor hours in March compared to February, with early risers fuelling up on favourites like The Big Feast from McDonald’s and Plain Paratha from Punjab Flower Restaurant.

🫶 You gave more than ever
Ramadan is a time for giving—and this year, that spirit was reflected in how you used Careem’s in-app donation service, Right Click. Donations to local NGOs and charities across the UAE, KSA, and Jordan rose by a staggering 240% during the Holy Month compared to February.
💸 Ramadan generosity powered a surge in transfers
You didn’t just spend this Ramadan—you gave. Cross-border remittances through Careem Pay increased by 6%, led by a 10% rise in transfers to India.

Several customers hit the AED 450,000 monthly transfer cap—all to India.

One customer made 46 separate transfers to Pakistan throughout the month.

Pakistan saw the largest month-on-month growth in overall transfer volume.

🍽️ DineOut Iftars and Suhoors, made better with savings
Careem DineOut made discovering and booking Iftar and Suhoor venues easier—and more rewarding.

The biggest single saving? A massive AED 6,760 saved on a booking worth over AED 27,000 at the Terrace Iftar at JW Marriott Marquis. The most active DineOut user booked 31 times during Ramadan, while another customer saved AED 4,650 from just three bookings—highlighting just how much value was on the table.
🛒 Bananas and bottled water ruled your carts
Careem Groceries saw clear shifts in how and when you stocked your kitchens. Overall order volumes rose 8% in March, with specific spikes around meal times:
