Terms & Conditions – Careem Pay x OKX – AED 50,000 Giveaway
1. Promotion Overview
The Careem Pay & OKX Giveaway Campaign (“Promotion”) offers eligible participants the chance to win AED 50,000 to be deposited into a newly created OKX account. The Promotion runs from June 25, 2025 till July 25, 2025, with the winner announced on July 29, 2025.
By participating, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility Criteria
Participants must be UAE residents and have an active Careem account.
Each AED 1,000 remitted via Careem Pay during the campaign earns 1 raffle entry.
Participants must enter the promo code “WIN50K” at the time of each transfer abroad to qualify for entries.
Only transfers completed between 00:00 on June 25, 2025, and 23:59 on July 25, 2025 (Gulf Standard Time) are eligible.
The campaign is open to all live countries to which users can send abroad via Careem.
Users may participate multiple times, provided the promo code is used each time.
Failure to enter the promo code “WIN50K” will render the transaction ineligible.
3. Raffle Mechanics
The raffle draw will take place on July 29, 2025.
One winner will be selected at random from the pool of eligible entries.
Odds of winning are proportional to the number of valid entries accumulated.
Careem Plus members will have a 2X multiplier benefit; if they have one entry, it will be subject to a multiplier, and they will have two entries.
Example:
If User A sends AED 10,000 and applies the promo code, they will receive 10 raffle entries.
If User B sends AED 2,000 and uses the same code, they will receive 2 raffle entries.
Additionally, if User A is a Careem Plus member, they will benefit from a 2X multiplier, bringing their total to 20 raffle entries.
Please note: Careem and OKX employees are not eligible to win the raffle prize.
4. Prize Details
The prize consists of AED 50,000 cash to be deposited into a newly created or existing OKX Trade account in the form of USDT, which can be used to buy cryptocurrency from OKX.
The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as offered.
Opening an OKX Trade account is a precondition to receiving the prize. The winner must meet OKX’s onboarding requirements.
Upon KYC approval and account opening, OKX will deposit AED 50,000 into the winner’s OKX Trade account in the form of USDT within 30 days.
5. Winner Notification & Redemption
The winner will be contacted by Careem via email and/or phone on July 29, 2025. OKX will contact the winner to initiate KYC.
The winner must respond to OKX within 60 calendar days and complete KYC. Non-response or KYC failure triggers a redraw for that prize, with up to three (3) attempts to select a new winner.
If the selected winner fails KYC with OKX, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be drawn.
The winner consents to OKX and Careem announcing their name, emirate, and other details when marketing.
6. Disqualification & Exclusions
Transactions that are cancelled, refunded, reversed, or flagged as fraudulent will be disqualified.
Careem and OKX employees are not eligible to participate.
Use of automation, bots, or any manipulation tactics will void all entries.
7. General Conditions
Careem reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants.
Careem and OKX reserve the right to amend or withdraw this Promotion at any time without prior notice.
The prize is offered on an “as is” basis. Careem and OKX disclaim any responsibility for market fluctuations post-funding.
OKX may modify or cancel its prize component, subject to regulatory approval, without notice.
Any disputes will be subject to the laws of the United Arab Emirates and adjudicated in the courts of Dubai.
8. Data Usage & Privacy
By participating, you agree to share your contact details with OKX for prize delivery and account setup. Your data will be handled in accordance with Careem and OKX’s privacy policies.
